Michael W. Hunter
Michael Hunter is an internationally recognized business development expert with 33 years of business experience. He established, Hunter-Wells International, in 1979 with the specific mission of assisting corporations in developing and deploying the functional architecture and work processes for sales, marketing, product management, corporate alliance development and channels to market.
In 1980 Hunter-Wells International expanded its service offerings to include professional training and development programs by partnering with the American Management Association in the United States. In 1986 the company developed a relationship with Frost & Sullivan, Ltd. to provide professional training and development services in Europe and Asia. As a result of these relationships the company has developed considerable technical expertise in course design, adult learning technique and tactical implementation for professional learning programs.
Mr. Hunter joined Johnson, Maples in 2003 as Director of Business Development.
Mr. Hunter has authored over 25 public seminar programs for his partners and has customized these programs for hundreds of private clients in diverse industry segments.
From 1983 to 1986 he was an adjunct professor at Boston University’s Business School for Continuing Education which focused on productivity seminars for experienced professionals.
Clients include: American Express, Verizon Corporation, Motorola, Barclays Bank, Nokia, Siemens, Ciba-Corning, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Pirelli, Philips, Hoffman la Roche, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Agilent Technologies, Alcon Laboratories, The Hartford Insurance Companies – Health Care Division, Lloyds of London, to mention a few of over 300 corporate clients.
Mr. Hunter was educated at George Washington University in Economics and Psychology, and is a member of the American Society for Training and Development.
